Samantha's Night to Shine!!
...and I was one proud aunt! Tonight was Dance Collective I at Samantha's school (Victoria School of Performing & Visual Arts). Floyd and I went, along with Cynthia, Andrew, and Bethany. It was 45 minutes of incredible dance - all different venues and music - the best I've seen for a long time. Congratulations to all! But, of course, we all sat up in our seats for the best number: "Walkman", that Samantha was in. She did such a good job and Floyd and I were so proud of her! I took two camera lenses with me in hopes of getting some photos and I was so pleased with the results! There was no flash photography allowed (hee hee), so I kicked the ISO up to 1600, put on my 50 mm lens, flicked it wide open (f 1.8) and went to town. I took 96 photos!! Ha ha...had a ball. Here's some photos the star! I'll post more in My Photos...
Good pictures Wendy and yes we are proud of her. She is not just another pretty face but she can dance too. She sure does dance well. Good job Samantha.
My life is defined by the roles in my life. First of all (and most importantly), I am the beloved daughter of God Almighty - a princess of His courts and one He loves with all His heart. Secondly, I am wife and best friend to my husband, Floyd. Thirdly, I am also best friends with my three awesome daughters - Tanya, Kristy and Mandy. My fourth role: Grammie to eight of the most precious jewels in the world - Adriana, Erilyn, Amelie, Kellen, Isabella, Sophia, Josiah, and Levi. I am also blessed by three young men who have chosen to join our wacky but loving family - my three sons-in-law, who I am so proud of - Tom, Bob and Jorge.
