One big day down...one more to go!

Well, yesterday was Mandy's bridal shower and we had a wonderful turnout! More than forty friends came out to wish her well, bless her and pray for her. We played games, shared stories and memories of Mandy and even shed some tears as well. But all happy tears for this is such a wonderful time in her life! This is a photo of the beautiful cake that Sulay made for her - thank you soooo much, Sulay!! The women also gave her recipes printed up on special cards that she can put in a book to keep for years and remind her of the women that gave them to her. We had lots of food and lots left over! In fact, it seemed like we almost went home with as much as we came with. Tanya and Kristy put a lot of effort into the shower for their sister and I know I am so thankful for them. It is awesome to see how close all three of our girls are - how they are such good friends and love doing things for each other...
